Part 1    Worship the seed ganesha

Celebrating festivals in an eco-friendly way is the new trend. Since we know how terrible climate change is we need to start bringing change in ourselves and start celebrating festivals in an eco-friendly way.

  What is Ganesh Chaturthi?

Hinduism’s celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, commemorates the birth of the elephant-headed deity Ganesha, the god of wisdom and prosperity. It starts on the fourth day (Chaturthi) of the Hindu calendar’s sixth month, Bhadrapada (August–September).

The greatest way to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi is with a large group of people, not just your own family and friends. The greatest approach to make sure of that is to celebrate in your housing society.

Festivals in India are generally celebrated with all the frills, and the same is true for Ganesh Chaturthi. Right from handpicking flowers and decking up puja rooms and pandals, to making modaks filled with coconut and jaggery, people tend to immerse themselves in a host of activities.
